Director of IP for the Business Division of WIPO

Prior to joining WIPO, Mr. Guy PESSACH was a law professor at the faculty of law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in intellectual property, law & technology and the creative industries. He was also a Fulbright scholar, a residential fellow at the Information Society Project in the Yale Law School; a visiting professor at the Columbia Law School, the City University of Hong Kong, UBC and the Center for Transnational Legal Studies at Georgetown University Law School.

Prior to his academic career, PESSACH clerked for Justice Zamir at the Israeli Supreme Court and worked at the economic department of the Israeli State attorney's office. He also worked at the Israeli Antitrust Authority; the Bank of Israel and was a private legal counsel in the area of intellectual property.
