Yangpu district in Shanghai held an open day on Sept 2 for its intellectual property (IP) protection alliance, highlighting efforts to build a full-chain IP protection system and foster a stronger business environment.
More than 60 officials, industry representatives and business leaders attended, exchanging ideas on unlocking the value of data and supporting the digital economy.

At the event, Shanghai Bilibili Technology Co Ltd received the country's first IP registration certificate for the Luo Tianyi Audio Dataset, a fully virtual singer's audio data product.
A senior legal director at Bilibili shared the company's experience in registering the dataset, including challenges in rights confirmation and strategies for addressing them.
The event also presented the alliance's latest achievements and recognized IP specialists from the Yangpu District Intellectual Property Administration.
A roundtable focused on IP protection for data products, covering compliant development, application scenarios, infringement risks and response strategies.
As Yangpu develops a modern industrial system led by the digital economy, the alliance is strengthening IP protection and services to support innovation and high-quality growth.
