Jing'an strengthens IP protection for cosmetics sector

ensipa.cn|Updated: August 28, 2026

The Jing'an Intellectual Property Administration recently held a special meeting with Augustinus Bader, the premium cosmetics brand, to discuss intellectual property protection in the sector and efforts to improve the local business environment.

Jing'an has strengthened coordinated online and offline governance through its beauty IP rights protection alliance and Beauty Nova Tech Hub.

A regular monitoring and rapid-response mechanism has also been established, enabling the timely collection of evidence and platform takedowns for general infringement cases, coordinated enforcement for serious cases, and joint investigations with police in suspected criminal cases.

Going forward, Jing'an will further strengthen the coordination between administrative enforcement and criminal justice authorities, and improve channels for corporate IP protection.

It will also enhance IP protection services to support foreign-funded enterprises in investing and operating with confidence, contributing to a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment.
