AI innovation roadshow links IP and commercialization in Xuhui

An artificial intelligence innovation roadshow was held in Shanghai's Xuhui district, highlighting the integration of AI development, intellectual property (IP) protection, and commercialization, as the district advances its role as a leading hub for large model innovation.

The event was jointly organized by the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Intellectual Property Protection Professional Committee and the Xuhui District Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Administration). It also marked the first time an AI project roadshow was held at the West Bund.

Four startups from Moso Space showcased end-to-end AI innovation, covering model infrastructure, application deployment, and industry use cases, reflecting efforts to accelerate real-world implementation of AI technologies across sectors.

COOL AI Technology (Shanghai) Co Ltd presented its Agent OS platform, which enables the rapid deployment of AI into business scenarios and enhances the efficiency of enterprise digital transformation through integrated implementation services.

A Beijing-based AI startup led by a post-1995 PhD from Fudan University demonstrated an AI deployment platform that reduces technical barriers and supports efficient operation of large models on terminal devices.

A Shanghai-based company specializing in generative AI compliance showcased solutions for copyright protection and data governance, emphasizing the growing importance of IP safeguards in AI development.

A medical AI company introduced a data transformation platform aimed at addressing challenges in healthcare data standardization, circulation, and clinical application, with the goal of improving research efficiency and unlocking greater value from medical data.

Experts said AI companies should incorporate IP strategy into the early stages of R&D to strengthen competitiveness. They added that Xuhui will continue to promote the integration of AI and IP while fostering a stronger innovation ecosystem.
