Shanghai will host the 2026 Shanghai Intellectual Property Publicity Week from April 20 to 26 in celebration of the 26th World Intellectual Property Day.
The event, with the theme "Intellectual Property and Sports: Ready. Set. Innovate!", will focus on the importance of intellectual property (IP) in promoting innovation in emerging sectors as well as its connection with sports.
This year's celebration will feature 203 diverse events aimed at raising awareness of IP, offering both educational and engaging experiences for participants.
World Intellectual Property Day, established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on April 26, 2001, aims to raise awareness of the role of IP in fostering creativity and innovation globally.
