The Shanghai Intellectual Property Protection Center provided on-site services at HOTELEX Shanghai 2026, helping foster a fair and orderly exhibition business environment while offering fast, professional intellectual property support to exhibitors and buyers.

The event comprised four sections: HOTELEX Shanghai, the 2026 Shanghai International Premium Food Exhibition, the 2026 Shanghai International Coffee and Tea Expo and the Shanghai International Franchise Exhibition.
To strengthen intellectual property protection, the center dispatched a professional team under its on-site protection initiative, delivering full-process services including consultation, dispute resolution and rapid rights protection throughout the exhibition period.

Staff members remained on duty, applying a fast-track mechanism covering acceptance, coordination and case handling. Services covered patent disputes involving kitchen equipment, design infringement related to tableware, and verification of trademarks and geographical indications for food products.
Additional support addressed trade secrets and copyright issues involving beverage recipes and packaging design, as well as intellectual property disputes in franchise agreements and business models at the franchise exhibition.
Through legal consultation, infringement assessment and on-site coordination, the center aimed to resolve disputes promptly and safeguard innovation, and will further improve protection mechanisms to support Shanghai in building a world-class business environment.
This on-site protection initiative represents a key effort to advance IP protection. By providing close-range professional services, the center helps build a strong legal shield for exhibitors and continuously enhances protection mechanisms for major events in Shanghai.
