Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration (SIPA) has opened a registration service window for data product intellectual property (IP) in the Yangtze River Delta eco-green integrated development demonstration zone at Xicen Sci-Tech Innovation Center in Qingpu district.
The window is the first dedicated platform established by SIPA, the demonstration zone executive committee, and the Qingpu district government to support enterprises' innovative use of data product IP within the zone and to strengthen regional coordination and high-quality cross-provincial development.
Operated by Yangtze River Delta Investment (Shanghai) Co and Shanghai Qingpu Guoke Chuangzhi Economic Development (Group) Co, the service window will enhance the demonstration zone's IP service ecosystem and facilitate market allocation and circulation of data elements.
Services include consultation on data product IP registration, guidance on preparing application materials, and policy briefings and practical training to raise awareness among enterprises and the public.
SIPA will organize expert teams to track key enterprises, guide registration applications, and explore data product IP circulation, transactions, and pledge financing.
Aligned with the demonstration zone's development goals, authorities will promote tailored practices in the creation, use, protection, and management of data product IP, supporting innovation and high-quality development in the Yangtze River Delta.
