Mr. Fan Zheng started his practice in 1997 covering all aspects of patent protection, including patent prosecution, invalidation and litigation. He has significant experience in drafting patent applications and handling patent prosecution before the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), involving a wide range of technical areas, including organic synthesis, pharmaceutics, medical devices, polymer science, and biotechnology.
He also has extensive experience in providing opinions on patent strategy, patentability, patent infringement, and freedom-to-operate analysis, assisting clients in solving patent problems they encounter in China.
As a standing board member of CNIPA and vice-president of Shanghai Intellectual Property Services Association (SIPSA), Mr. Fan plays an important role in education, training, academic exchanges and other activities for Intellectual property industry.
