In its efforts to bolster industrial chains, SIPA is striving to create a strategic IP layout, establishing 26 high-value patent cultivation centers, implementing 40 projects for upgrading, and cultivating high-value patents. It aims to develop valuable patent portfolios that support core technological advancements.
Additionally, SIPA is introducing patent databases for emerging industries and supporting patent navigation projects across districts, empowering regional key industries and facilitating the seamless integration of industrial and IP information.
To boost efficiency, SIPA is harnessing IP rights to maximize the benefits of key industrial chains. Through comprehensive evaluations and revitalization of existing patents in educational and healthcare institutions, SIPA is establishing IP operation promotion centers tailored to leading industries, thereby enhancing their operational capabilities.
Notable initiatives include the selection of over 600 high-value patents in the biomedical sector to create a "public patent wall". Collaborative efforts across departments have resulted in the implementation of IP finance policies and the promotion of data product circulation through experimental IP registration in data products.
In the pursuit of improving quality, SIPA is refining the IP service system and business environment to stimulate the vitality of key industrial chains. By optimizing protection mechanisms and issuing the first national regulatory document on IP protection in pharmaceutical procurement, SIPA is fostering an environment conducive to innovation and growth.
