Mr. KONG Yuanzhong graduated from Information Engineering University, and furthered his study in intellectual property at Tsinghua University Law School and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, USA. He is one of the first 100 high-level intellectual property talents in China and was awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Individual in the Implementation of National Intellectual Property Strategy" by the State Council of China.

KONG presided over the work of the formulation of policies and regulations on the construction of the intellectual property system of Shanghai's enterprise parks, the construction of Shanghai's intellectual property operation system, as well as the high-quality development of intellectual property in Shanghai, the financial innovation of intellectual property, the review of foreign transfers of intellectual property, and the selection of the WIPO-SMPG Shanghai IP Innovation Awards. He is also a member of the Science and Technology Innovation Advisory Committee of Shanghai Stock Exchange, a special researcher of Intellectual the Property Research Center of Fudan University, and a special researcher of the Brand Development Research Center of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.
