Shape an environment where IP are equally protected

Improve the mechanism for equal protection of IPR. Ensure equal protection of IPR for both domestic and foreign enterprises. Improve communication channels with IPR holders at home and abroad, and strengthen information exchanges with domestic and foreign trade associations, chambers of commerce and other social groups by holding IPR information communication meetings with consulates in Shanghai and enterprise symposiums. Organize briefings on IPR protection, compile and issue the annual white paper on IPR protection in Shanghai and the white paper on IPR trials and inspections in Shanghai, publish administrative law enforcement and judicial cases on patents, trademarks and copyrights, and keep the public informed of major issues and developments.

Strengthen overseas IPR protection assistance services. Set up Shanghai's overseas IPR protection assistance mechanism, hold the "Belt and Road enterprises trademark brand overseas layout" seminar jointly with the Shanghai Trademark Association, actively declare the Shanghai branch of the national overseas intellectual property dispute resolution center, give full play to the role of IPR protection assistance platforms, overseas IPR protection institutions and IPR protection experts and advisers, and provide information, legal support and guidance for overseas IPR disputes. Explore overseas IPR dispute information collection, business guidance, prevention and control training, resources coordination and other works.
