Talks discuss Shanghai IP intl operating platform

Rui Wenbiao, director general of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, recently received a delegation from the Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange – led by its president Zhou Xiaoquan – in Shanghai in East China.

The two sides had talks about the latest progress and future plans for the International Operating (Shanghai) Platform of State Intellectual Property Operation Public Service Platform.

They exchanged views on how to promote the high-quality development of IP transactions and operation services in Shanghai.

Zhou Xiaoquan said that the Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange actively served the development of Shanghai as an international financial center and as a global science and innovation hub.

The International Operating (Shanghai) Platform will provide strong support for the construction of an ecosystem for the whole chain of IP creation, protection, applications, management and services, according to Zhou.

Rui Wenbiao fully affirmed the operating platform's development outcomes.

He also expressed his desire that the platform would take a leading role in building up professional talent teams, exploring international operation and trading, serving the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region and undertaking special patent transformation projects.
